People seek counselling when they need help. They may need help with how they are feeling, or challenges in relationships or how traumas in their lives are still effecting them. There are many possible reasons to seek counselling.
 
In my years as a counsellor I have witnessed people facing their difficulties and finding ways past them, giving them space to be present to themselves or others without those burdens.
